Terms of Service
Draft of October 24, 2026
These terms are an agreement between [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("we") and the business that creates an account ("you"). They cover your use of Bookleen: booking forms, scheduling, payments set-up, customer records, staff tools and related services.
1. Your account
You must be at least 18 and able to act for the business. Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us at [CONTACT EMAIL] if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what people you invite (managers, staff, cleaners) do in your account.
2. Trials, pilots and plans
A free trial or a free pilot lasts for the period shown in your account. When it ends you can choose a paid plan; if you don't, your account becomes read-only and, after the notice period shown in the app, your data is deleted. Plan prices, limits and fees are shown on the billing page before you pay and may change with at least 30 days' notice.
3. Payments from your customers
Your customers pay you through the payment provider you connect (for example Stripe). That provider's terms apply between you and them. We never hold or move your money, and we are not a party to your sales, refunds or disputes.
4. Your customers and your data
You own the data you and your customers put in the service. You are responsible for having the right to collect it and for what you tell your customers, including your own terms, cancellation policy and privacy notice. We process your customers' data only to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Messages you send
Email and text messages go out in your business's name. You must only text people who agreed to it, honour opt-outs (we stop texts automatically on STOP), and follow the laws that apply to you, such as the TCPA and CAN-SPAM in the United States.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use the service for anything unlawful, to send spam, to collect data you aren't allowed to, to break or overload it, or to get into other businesses' accounts. We may suspend an account that does, and we'll tell you why unless the law stops us.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep booking and checkout available at all times and back up your data every night, but we can't promise the service will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features; we'll give notice before removing something you rely on.
8. Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time from Settings. You can export your data first. Closing stops future charges; fees already paid are not refunded unless the law requires it.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is", we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING STATE], United States. Questions: [CONTACT EMAIL], [COMPANY POSTAL ADDRESS].
